That old home of yours sure has a lot of character…not to mention creaky floorboards, layers of creepy wall paper, a seasonal wading pool in the basement, and what is either a friendly poltergiest or raccoon family pacing around in the attic.

The romance of purchasing an older home can wear off pretty quickly and the costs and pitfalls can certainly stack up overtime.

Perhaps it was that weekend that you cancelled your wine country excursion in order to snake the vintage plumbing (not as cool as it sounds), or the electrician who left you with more access hole than wall when he was done.

Whatever it is, we want to see it and commiserate with you, and then give you $250 to help make it better!
