The nearby Tryon Creek Natural Area offers 670 acres of lush forest including 14 miles of hiking, biking and equestrian trails. Tryon Creek also hosts a variety of special events throughout the year such as the Trillium Festival and the Forest Music Series, and the Nature Center offers educational classes, summer day camp and other family-friendly activities.
